This company was established in 2001 by obtaining the license from
the Department of Industries, Government of Nepal. Chandi Lumbini
has the license to store 3,000 tonnes of Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG)
per month. This license allows the company to store, bottle and
distribute LPG to existing companies. The proposed storage plant
of Chandi Lumbini is to be located in Nawalparasi with its head
office in Kathmandu. The plant is to be housed on a 15 acre land
next to the Narayani River which will supplement the plants demand
for water. Chandi Lumbini wishes to start operation from the year
2009. Currently, the average demand for LPG in Nepal stands at
12,000 tonnes per month which is growing at 10% every year. |
